As we have mentioned 37 times over the last couple of days, we are going to be in the Eastern Townships this week. While we party hard on the Thursday night, and then even harder on the Friday night... We have all day Friday where we have nothing scheduled, except to recover... And this is where you come in... With the Slightly Illegal Video Challenge, we want some ideas of foolish things that we can film while we are in Lennoxville and Sherbrooke. The last time we were there, we ended up with a chainsaw and a lost limb. So help us top that!!

I am sure that you have seen promoters and DJs throw birthday events when it is either a) their birthday/anniversary every second month, b) their birthday party is 3 months after their actual birthday c) they put their birthday flyers six months in advance or d) there are twelve different birthdays within 1 group...
Well in the interests of making the birthday club scene even more cluttered, this year we will be celebrating JesseWalker.net's Half Birthday Party. That's right... we are 2 again, and the same way you celebrate your kid's birthday, or your doomed to fail short-term relationship... Jesse is now celebrating his birthday in 6 month increments, like Mr. Snufalufagus does on Sesame Street. Why? Cause Jesse wants more free cake!!
Thursday night we start the official Half-Birthday tour (that right! we are going across the province with this stupidityness) We go to Lennoxville for Beer Bash: Maysen Mug Mania... Where you can get a mug of beer for a toonie... and keep the mug... I will joined by a couple of friends... None other than two of montreal's best DJs: Blaster and Kwite Sane! On Friday night we are at the Maysen in Sherbrooke. With a party appropriately named God Is A DJ because we have the best DJs from across the province. Kwite Sane, Blaster, Huggies, Tropiks. Oh and did I mention that Bran Van 3000 will be there as well? Click Here for more information.
Then on the Saturday night, we will be back in Montreal for a top secret semi private event... Cause that's how we do...

Wu-Tang member, Raekwon will be hitting Montreal this Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 at Club Soda.

‘The Chef’ Raekwon -is considered to be one of Hip Hop's best artists. With The Wu-Tang Clan, he released masterpieces such as Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), Wu-Tang Forever and The W. Solo,the 1995 album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is considered to be ‘one of the best Wu-Tang solo albums, and one of the finest and most influential hip hop albums of the 1990s.’ He has since released two other solo projects and is working on the sequel; Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II.

All of this takes place at Club Soda, 1225 St-Laurent Blvd., corner Ste-Catherine, Metro Saint-Laurent. Doors open at 7:00pm. Showtime at 8:30pm. Advance tickets are $25.00.

While this may not be (technically speaking a 'beer video'... A lot of beer was drunk prior to the shooting of this film! This is Jesse's cousin Ryan's first time at a club!! Unfortunately for him, we brought him to Maysen in Lennoxville. One of the craziest clubs in Canada... on Jesse's Birthday!! The bartender, Fiona, showed him what a 'body shot is'. Beer Bash takes place next Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008 at Maysen Lennoxville, 116 Queen St.
